All members are encouraged to come along to the club AGM on Friday, November 25th at 8:30pm. Elect a new commodore and members to the committee, debate motions etc. It’s your club, please come have your say on how it is run. We need your support!

Safeguarding Children Course Report
Ciaran Murphy from the ISA delivered a very successful cause to 14 members, or parents of members, along with Inbhear Dee Athletics Club coaches, Wicklow Sea Angling coaches, and a Swimming Club coach.
The course challenged those attending to think about the type of club we want for our young sailors, that its ok to have clubs based on participation for all and to have an elite group within the group. To think about abuse, and what is considered abuse, mild hyperthermia? Should we have a phone usage policy, given the media capability on phones? Healthy discussion took place and all left thinking about the challenges of the night.
This course will feed into the review of the Child Welfare Policy within the club that is currently ongoing.
